Certainly much more can be said about the beauty queen among yachts, particularly when viewing the underwater profile. The Bird of Dawning, a Judel/Vrolijk & Co design, is a retro classic with a modern, fast hull.

Since the yacht was also designed in a modern wood-epoxy construction, it only displaces 7.5 tons and shows most standard cruisers its stern. Here again function follows form, however packaged in a timeless, classic exterior. The interior shows just as masterfully and immaculate as the exterior, which the owner requested in varnished cherry woods and with lots of leather.
