Due to considerable interest in a smaller sister of the well received Elbe 33 we sat down with the yacht design and engineering experts of Judel/Vrolijk & Co. to develop ELBE 28. She comes with an open cockpit as standard. „On request, we can as well build her with a conventional hardtop and the transparent sliding roof as we did at the 33-footer“ says Boehm.

While the 33-footer comes with the kitchenette on port side below deck, ELBE 28 offers this facility in the cockpit. Apart from that the smaller sister will offer all amenities for a couple living aboard in style. With the bathroom on starboard side and a comfortable V-berth in the spacy cabin.

The mix of glossy varnished mahogany matches well to the traditional matt white ceiling battens, so does the upholstery in top quality leather. The spots by italian manufacturer Cantalupi and faucets by Dornbracht/Germany will fit well to the contemporary version of the classy launch.

Thanks to its high freeboard the raised-deck cruiser copes well with choppy water, offering a safe and dry ride. The fuel saving propulsion by means of a single Volvo Penta D3 170 HP fivecylinder Duoprop provides 12 to 16 knots cruising and a top speed beyond 20 knots. Like her bigger sister, ELBE 28 is built in a proven sandwich construction with solid GRP laminate in areas of particular loads.
